Why are we here? A good part of my profession involves being able to tell a story, and the best stories - true ones - are answers to the question "Why are you here?"
So here's why for me. I'm a successful, sane (imagine that) financially and emotionally secure guy, good-looking (as described by others, not just me), a bit nerdy (as described by others, not just me), intellectually driven, and definitely a sense of humor. Marriage was very much on the rocks and is now back on the shore (or an island) and for lots of reasons won't be ending after all. But here's the "but": I really would like to communicate with someone to share highs and lows, interesting mediums and some boring ones - and not just mine but yours; maybe even help you through them, and you mine.
