We have been married for 37 years. My one dream in life was to have a beautiful woman who was fun, loved to dance, and would be willing to explore life. An important issue to me is intimacy. Unfortunately, she will not open up, explore, or want to have fun with me. She lives for her animals, novels, and movies. I am an outgoing, artistic, kind of guy. I love to write, and am an accomplished musician/singer. I love kids, but have none as my wife was scared to have any. Basically, she is scared to come out of her skin. When I used to play music for a living, she would seldom come with me. She eventually stopped going out with me. I love her to pieces, but I am now an alcoholic who just goes to my 'manhole' to play music and get on the Internet. She won't go to counseling or seek help. We went once, but she refused to listen. I need help!! BTW, I realize the drinking does not help our relationship any. Through the years, I have stopped several times, but nothing has ever changed. Thanks for your guidance!!
