`My wife and I recently went there. Walked around the red light district but didn't partake in anything other than to take in the sights and goings on. I was there in 1981 and lived in the red light district for 10 days. I also didn't take part in anything then. I found that it has changed quite a lot and that it is now more Eastern Eurpoeans than Hollanders themselves that have taken over. For me it has lost its original "Dutchness". Worth a visit to take in everything and if thats what you want, to participate too.
